Our running adventures give you the opportunity to run glorious trails in good company without worrying about getting lost or having to carry all your gear. They are best viewed as great days (or weekends) out with running as our mode of travel, rather than as training sessions, but that doesn’t mean they’re not gratifyingly challenging. We break each day’s distance down into manageable chunks with scheduled stops for lunch, tea, cake or even a cheeky beer!
We offer one-day and two-day trips (the latter include an overnight stay) of varying distances and levels of challenge – but one thing all our handpicked routes have in common is stunning scenery to enjoy, be it coastal cliffs or ancient woodland, rolling countryside or picturesque historic villages. And since all our trips are loops or point-to-point, you’ll always find something new to look at as you clock up the miles.
Every Running Forever adventure has qualified, experienced coaches on hand to offer moral and practical support and tips on anything from trail technique to tackling hills, navigation to nutrition. We have vehicle support for bag carriage, water top-up, refreshments, changes of kit - or even a lift to the next meeting point if you’re flagging. All our trips are accessible by train (we offer pick-up).
Trip distances vary and therefore, there is no fixed pace requirement. But please check individual adventures for guidance, to ensure that you will be able to cope with the level of challenge and enjoy the trip. Numbers are limited for safety and sociability.
