We are a social enterprise on a mission to help runners forge a lifetime habit with greater fulfilment, improved performances and more fun. We use our profits to fund Learn to Run courses and other local projects. We have weekly running groups in Rye, Tenterden and Ashford.
Running Forever brings together the passion, expertise and experience of husband and wife team, Jeff Pyrah and Sam Murphy. Both lifelong runners and qualified coaches, we live and breathe running – be it for pure pleasure, exploration, personal challenge or competition.
We are based in Rye, a historic East Sussex town perched on a hill, with the English Channel on one side and miles of countryside on the other. A run with us can take you through ancient woodland, rolling countryside and apple orchards, across the vast expanse of Romney Marsh and along miles of sandy beach. We love where we live and look forward to sharing it with you.
Working with Sam took my training to a whole new level. Many of the workouts were completely new to me and so much better than what I'd been doing on my own. Best of all, it was tailored to me.Richard Shaul
Fantastic workshop. I came away with a better understanding of how I was running and what I could do to improve. Such an eye opener!Jane Elcombe
I was nervous the retreat might be too serious/intense, but in reality, the balance was perfect. I enjoyed every session and learned loads to take away with me from technique, to strengthening, to how to build a good plan. Can't recommend enough!Abby Price
A friendly, very personable and well qualified team. They have vast experience and expertise in all aspects of running and associated fitness, including dealing with injuries.John Bridger
The retreat met my expectations perfectly. It was a relaxed and sociable non- competitive environment. Thank you both for an enjoyable and inspiring weekend.Carmen Kearney
The coaches are amazing. Not only has my fitness improved, but so has my self-belief that I can achieve more than I ever dreamed I could.Lesley Lambeth
